We supply these systems with a manual first flush valve [see image 12] so you can direct the first bit of water produced out the waste line then through the RO to which allows resin to last longer. This flush valve can also be set to increase your operating waste ratio which is required in some areas where the TDS of the local water is high. 

Matrikx CTO carbon pre-filter will filter +/- 30,000 litres of typical town water before needing to be changed [based on total flow of pure + waste water].

SYSTEM INCLUDES:

• Powder coated, mild steel folded bracket
• 2x 10"x2.5" vertical white opaque [per 2nd listing image] or tinted clear [main listing image] filter housings
• 1x 10"x2.5" Matrikx KX CTO high volume carbon block water filter
• 1x 10"x2.5" jumbo post RO mixed DI resin filter [2.5x as much resin as in line post DI filters]*
• 1x high quality reverse osmosis membrane [flow rate depends on selection in drop down menu]
• 3x meters of high pressure 1/4" | 6mm water filter tubing
• 1x opening + closing housing ring spanner
• 2x garden tap connectors to fit 1/2" + 3/4" taps per selection
• 1x standard** sink mixer diverter connector per selection
• 1x manual first flush valve

* If you purchase the unit with 2x clear tinted pre-filter housings we should be able to supply the resin filter with clear frosted side walls [per listing image 8] but can't guarantee this as we occasionally only have stock of the one with white side walls so if it's important to you to have the DI resin refillable filter with frosted clear side walls please check with us before buying to make sure we have them in stock

** Standard mixer taps refer to a mixer tap where you can unscrew the aerator on the end of the tap and will be left with either a 20mm female thread or a 23mm male thread. If you have the 20mm female thread you'll need to use the inside to outside thread converter [supplied with the diverter valve] to connect but if you have a 23mm male thread after removing the aerator you won`t need to use the thread converter

Easy to carry around and great for topping up freshwater aquariums, caravanning, camping and home use + produces 190-685 litres per day depending on mains water pressure, feed water quality and system selected

The reverse osmosis process results in the purest possible water and results in the total dissolved solids (TDS) count dropping by between +/- 99.9% and 100% with a post membrane DI

This purification process is commonly considered to be the most effective method of purification available to the public, and will consistently produce the lowest level of contaminant.

RO will reduce/remove all of contaminant in the feed water including chlorine, fluoride, volatile organic compounds, disinfection by-products and heavy metals

All of the parts that come into contact with the water in our systems are manufactured from BPA free food grade plastics. All of the filters and parts that we source are of the highest quality and meet the required quality standards.

Membrane brand/s of the membrane supplied with the system may vary from those depicted depending what we have in stock but will be of equivalent quality

This RO system is a multi-stage pumpless system. It is designed to operate on mains pressure and will produce with feed water pressure of 45psi or greater.

This RO unit has a 24 month warranty which is subject to our warranty terms and conditions and is installed with a pressure reducing valve and filters are maintained
