These 0.5uM catalytic carbon filters remove / reduce chloramines, chlorine, odour, taste, volatile organic compounds, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides and a wide range of chemicals and parasitic micro-organisms & cysts [i.e. giardia, cryptosporidium and blastocysts] other impurities that may be in your water

Carbon block filters on their own will not remove bacteria and to do so you'll need to use a silver infused or nano silver carbon block filter
