Big blue filter cartridge system used for whole of house chemical water filtration and includes a spun sediment filter, a carbon block filter, a mounting bracket as selected as well as a housing opening ring spanner
Available with 1"BSP inlet + outlet ports and housings have pressure release valve button and will accommodate all standard 20"x4.5" standard water filter cartridges
All of the parts that come into contact with the water in our systems are manufactured from BPA free food grade plastics.
All of the filters and parts that we source are of the highest quality and meet the required quality standard and should last 6-12 months or +/- 100,000 litres for standard volume filters and +/- 250,000 for high volume catalytic carbon filters
This system has filter options which are 1st filter = poly spun sediment filter and 2nd filter = a coconut shell activated carbon block filter as selected
Spun sediment filters are poly-spun filters which remove sediment particles like dust, dirt, clay, leaves, debris and suspended solids and our carbon block filters are made from activated coconut shell carbon and will reduce or remove chlorine, odour, some colouration, taste, pesticides, herbicides, volatile organic compounds and a wide range of impurities in water but only a 0.5 micron carbon block will remove cysts and micro-organisms like giardia, cryptosporidium and blastocysts

Measurements of coconut carbon block water filters are +/- [50cm] x +/- [12cm]
The filter housings in this listing are available in WATERMARK certified or NON-certified housings as selected. Where connecting directly to mains water supply and the system will be under constant mains water pressure Australian Standards specify that Watermark certification is required as is a PRV and Non-Return Valve which are not included as they are often already installed in homes. You do not have to have Watermark certified housings if you will be using this filter for other filtration purposes not under constant town mains water pressure.
