These filters are recommended as replacements for reverse osmosis filter systems with 3x vertical pre-filter housings per images 5-8.
The lower the micron rating number the more sediment / particles are removed by the filters i.e. a 0.5uM filter will remove more than a 5uM filter however the trade off is if you have high sediment the finer filters may clog sooner.
Actual measurements of spun sediment water filters are +/- [25cm] x +/- [7cm] Measurements of coconut carbon block water filters are +/- [25cm] x +/- [7cm]
*KX / Matrikx and Pentek CBC-10 carbon block filters will remove / reduce chlorine for up to 30,000L
**0.5uM silver infused carbon block is a good option to reduce bacteria build-up on your RO membrane and in particular if you filter town mains as well as rainwater tank water
*** Pentek / Pentair CBR2 filter is the highest volume carbon filter and will do so for up to 76,000L
