It is generally recommended to supply this filter with 1x 10 micron spun filter, 1x 1 micron spun filter and 1x 0.5 micron/uM activated carbon block cartridge
The above water filter combination will remove / reduce dirt, sand, clay, particles turbidity, chlorine, volatile organic compounds, herbicides, pesticides, insecticide and a wide range of impurities in water as well as filter out parasitic micro-organisms like giardia, cryptosporidium and blastocysts.

While silver-infused filters are effective at purifying tank water, it is advisable to install a UV water steriliser for additional protection. This can be set up as either a whole-house filter system or under the kitchen sink at a specific drinking point. Bacterial levels in tanks can vary significantly; therefore, if your tank has extremely high bacterial levels, silver filters alone may not suffice.

This water filter system carries a full 24-month warranty on all parts supplied in the original order, this subject to our standard terms and conditions listed in our operating manual

According to regulatory standards any water filter system under constant water pressure [regardless of the brand or supplier] is required to be fitted with an AS3497 approved pressure reducing valve and back-flow prevention device which we have listed separately in our store. We also recommend that a leak detector shut off device is installed with any water filter and / or reverse osmosis system which is under pressure and is also for sale in our store.
