The 12V LED UV Water Steriliser is a highly effective solution for purifying untreated water. With advanced LED UV light technology, it destroys 99.99% of harmful pathogens, ensuring your water is safe for consumption. Ideal for travellers, caravans, RVs, and off-grid living, this system works with water from tanks, rivers, lakes, and more.

How It Works:

The LED-4R UV sterilises water by using powerful LED lights to neutralise harmful microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, protozoa, and cysts like Cryptosporidium and Giardia. This ensures your water is safe to drink no matter where you are.

Water Quality Requirements:

For best performance, water should meet the following conditions:

• Operating water temperature: 0-45°C
• Hardness: <120 mg/L
• Manganese: <0.05 mg/L
• Iron: <0.3 mg/L
• Turbidity: <1 NTU
• Tannins: <0.1 mg/L

Never operate the UV lamp outside its housing, and never look directly at the UV light without proper eye protection, as it can permanently damage your eyesight.

Warranty:

This system comes with a 36-month warranty from the date of purchase. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us so we can address your concerns before leaving any neutral or negative feedback.

Included:

• 1x 1µm sediment filter
• 1x carbon block filter (removes sediment, chlorine, cryptosporidium, giardia, blastocyst, cysts, volatile organic compounds, and other impurities)
• A 0.5µm carbon block filter lasts for approximately 4,000L
• Filters should be replaced every 6-12 months, depending on environmental factors.
• Drinking water tap/faucet, pressure/leak safety devices, and installation accessories

The 350kpa PRV + NRV extends the life of the system by reducing pressure and preventing housing cracks. The leak stop device shuts off the water supply if a leak occurs.

This system is compatible with all standard 5" x 2.5" water filter cartridges.

The filtration unit has a 36-month warranty, subject to our warranty terms and conditions, and comes with a pressure-reducing valve and leak shut-off device.

Regulatory Compliance:

In line with regulatory standards, any water filter system under constant water pressure must include an AS3497-approved pressure-reducing valve and back-flow prevention device. We also recommend installing a leak detector shut-off device with any water filter or reverse osmosis system under constant pressure.
